MAPP (Manufacturers Association of Plastic Processors) held a Plant Tour Event at Eleva Strum High School to show members Cardinal Manufacturing to show members how the program works and inspire creation of more programs like Cardinal Mfg around the country. Members from as far away as New York were joined by educators from Wisconsin and other states.
After a welcome and introductions by Executive Director Troy Nix, Principal Corey Kulig and Cardinal Mfg Director Craig Cegielski welcomed guests with a full introduction to the program. Attendees then rotated through four breakout sessions that included a tour of the facility, a discussion on education support, the student and parent perspective, and industry support.
Attendees then reconvened as a group for lunch, during which MAPP member Roger Williams of Royer Corporation was video conferenced in to discuss his company's success helping the Madison Indiana school district setup Cub Manufacturing after learning about Cardinal Manufacturing.
